My nephew Ry went to the doctor to have tests done because he had been complaining about his tummy. Kim wanted to make sure that he did not have the same thing that ran through her family (celiac)... In the end the test came back negative, which was a relief to the family however another test came back with bad results. These test results are positive for Muscular Dystrophy. He will be going to a specialist to find out exactly which kind he has on Aug. 20th... however it looks like he has one of the worst kinds. If this is the case then there is a good chance that he will end up in a wheelchair by the time he is around 10. The life expectancy for this is about 20 years... which has been hard for us to hear. We will know more about everything on the 20th... Once we know more we are going to start doing fundraising for him. Ammon has started a webpage for it....
