Decisions...

As some people know, I am not very happy with the way my life is going. I feel like I am going no where and am in fact stagnant. Once realizing this I knew that I needed to make some changes. Because of this I dragged Whitney down to Cedar City over Spring Break to check out SUU. I really feel like I should go back to school and get a degree in something I really love. I find nothing wrong with my degree in Social Work, except that I don't want to do anything in the field. Since my trip down to Cedar I have since registered for classes down there, but have decided that I really don't want to move down there, so for the next two semesters (Fall and Spring) I am taking online classes so that I can adjust to going back to school. I have since then decided that I don't want to work on another Bachelor's degree but it is time to finally move on and get a Master's. In order for me to do this I need to take the GRE test, which is one thing I have been avoiding. I have started looking at Grad schools. It is just my luck that the only school in Utah that has a Master's degree in History is the U of U, which is a school that I would never attend. I have now begun to look for schools outside of Utah. I am hoping to find a school back East (hopefully in Boston) since that is where all of our (US) history began and US History is what I would love to emphasis in. We will see how these plans go!

Ward Prayer Spotlight...

Tonight my sisters and I were asked to be the spotlight at Ward Prayer. We decided to make it interesting instead of the boring ones that we always have. b. Work and the Glory Series
c. A Summer to Die
d. Love Lights the Way

What is my favorite TV show?

a. CSI: LV
b. Passions
c. American Idol
d. The Hills

After giving the quiz we told a little about each other. So here you go... here is a look inside my crazy life...

I am the oldest of 4 kids. Growing up I loved school so much that when summer time came around I would cry because I missed school. My hobbies include: reading, genealogy, watching movies, watching sports- especially BYU football and the Boston Red Sox. I went to school at UVU and got a bachelor's degree in Social Work. I currently work on campus as an assistant director over the Intramurals Department. My favorite colors are pink and deep reds. I love country music and my favorite band is Rascal Flatts. My favorite fictional hero is Robin Hood (because he is a fox!) and my favorite actor is Josh Hartnett...

Everyone seemed to enjoy our not so boring presentation and getting to know a little bit more about the quiet, shy (but maybe not so quiet and shy) Malone girls.

Friday Night Ice Cream Night...

Last night I went out for Friday Night Ice Cream Night with Whitney and her two friends Brooke and Erika. Earlier in the evening Whitney was invited out for ice cream by a guy in her ASL class but she had to work... This guy happened to date Brooke at the beginning of the semester. The girls decided to pick Whits up right after work and take her for ice cream. Of course they couldn't resist taking pictures in hope that the boy would see them.

General Conference...

I love this time of year! I love to be able to lay in my bed and to listen to the words of our prophet. Watching conference is always so uplifting for me. It is also a time to ponder. Where am I in my life? What things can I do to get myself moving forward on the straight and narrow path? More than anything I want to be with my family for eternity. I am so glad that I was able to watch both sessions of conference today!
