My Baby is Growing Up...

Rykert started preschool today. It is so weird to see him growing up so fast. Here is a picture of him on the bus heading to preschool and here is a picture of him with his backpack on him... (He seems to really love his backpack!)

BeeGee's Concert...

I grew up listening to my dad's music, which meant that I loved the oldies! During my junior year of high school I became addicted to the Bee Gee's and listened to them like non-stop. I was so excited to see that a tribute group was coming to do a concert at the SCERA Shell this summer! I could still sing almost all of the songs they played and I loved every minute of the concert. Here are some of the pictures that we took and also some of the videos we recorded.... Towards the end of the concert Whitney and Cori got a little too excited and started having fun dancing. I had to take lots of pictures of this!

Quote of the Week...

"Love is ACTION.
It isn't just talk and never was. We are born with the ability to love but have to exercise it just like we would any other muscle"

Memorial Day Weekend...

Every year over the Memorial Day weekend we meet together with my aunt Shauna and her kids (or at least those that are able to come) on the Saturday before Memorial Day and head over to the Provo Cemetery. We bring flowers for all of our relatives that are there and just have a fun time being together. Here are some of the pictures from our recent trip...Whitney being shocked when looking down the flower hole on my mom's side of the grave....

Sam's Wedding...

Today my cousin Sam got married. The wedding was held up at my uncle's backyard. After the ceremony we decided to go down and take pictures. Afterward we went with my mom's sister Shauna and her family over to Spaghetti Mama's and had dinner. I loved the food there! Sisters!...

Happy Birthday Rykert!!!

I love having both the kids with birthday's during the summer time. Ry and Lilly are a year and nine days apart. After the long week that we had had the week before we decided to go and get the kids a bunch of birthday presents. We went and bought the kids (and lets be honest... us too) a new swimming pool. We also bought them each a new tricycle, which I ended up having to put together... Ry wanted to be in the pool while it was getting filled up. The water was so cold, I don't know how he could stand being in the pool. He also loved his new bike.

Whitney helping get the new pool up and running...Ry loving every moment in the pool...
I love this little boy!...He also loves his new bike helmet...

We just had to get Ry a new "Cars" trike...

We ended up being able to get the kids the day before Ry's birthday. Cori, Lilly and I decided that we needed to get out of the house and ended up at the mall. We decided to go and get Ry a Build a Bear. We named him Bugg... which is really funny since Ry thinks bugs are "gucky!"

We had the kids for the morning of Ry's birthday. We took the kids over to Cori's work and had lunch and we also bought a cake for Ry and brought it along. We let him choose the cake that he wanted and of course he chose a racing cake.
